i feel like an old railroad man
who's really tried the best that he can
to make his life add up to something good
but this engine no longer burns on wood
and i guess i may never understand
the times that i live in
are not made for a railroad man

I can not find anything out about this author.
Anthony Giangregorio

It is amazing with the web not to be able to find something you are looking for. I can find the books but nothing more really. Amazing to me. Anyway. The internet has failed me.

Yup I was there.
Went to a english football game. Pretty cool. No drinking in the seats you had to go out to the concorse area. It was kinda crazy. They get super worked up just like me at a shock game. Pretty sweet.
Got into the tube (London Underground) after the game. Packed i like sardines. Really sucked.

Last night we went to dinner at a place that was too fancy for it's own good.
The bathroom was in the basement and you had to take an elevator to the basement to get to it. It was kinda freaking me out. Cuz you got down there and all that was there was the bathrooms in a little hallway. I felt like I was in a David lynch movie. I was waiting for a small man to come out of a room.
Also, there were all these women dressed up. Lot of hot chicks with kinda iffy looking guys. Kinda weird. One of the guys I was with went down to the bathroom and heard a girl talking about how she had a meeting without her panties on or some crazy shit. And the fucker also got to go down there with some girl dressed in what he described as not much more than a bikini. ha ha. The food was kinda eh. We had to take our shoes off before we sat down at the tables. We had some ice cream that tasted like fish. It was nasty.

We have been rebelling against the fancy places we have had to go to. We want to slum it tonight. But I am not sure I feel like even eating. I might just work out and go to bed.

E is the best. Truely.
E's Dog has left him to hang out with Leonard Cohen. Ha ha.
Too funny.

If you don't know who E is.
Your need to educate yo' foolself.

I just read the new book by E called Things the grandchildren should know.
Amazing. Awesome.
Loved it.
Ok I am going to go back to not posting.

I am in Jolly old England
Figured I should post once a year at least. I am in London for my Minute Maid job. I am staying at a super nice hotel (Soho).
I am not sure if I can post pics from my phone but I may give it a shot later.
Super tired at the moment even though I slept a bit on the plane. I think I am going to relax a bit before I go out and check the city out.

Mostly just feel homesick with all the travelling I have been doing lately.
I was in LA for 10 days then home for a week then back to LA then to chicago and now here. and in two weeks I will be back here. I always get burned out this time of year. And this year I am just liking what I do anymore.
Really sick of it. People are just so mean and angry about nothing. Eh.

Genius comedian Patton Oswalt says:

This is my favorite show on TV and, I think, the best show ever on television. I own the first three seasons on DVD, and I've watched each of them several times. It's the closest thing I've ever seen on television to a big, thick, compelling novel, the kind you can't stop reading. Like The Stand, or Freedomland, or Blood Meridian. I’m flat-out begging you, all of you, to watch this season. PLEASE. In fact, even if you DON’T watch it, could you tune your TV to HBO at 10pm Sunday night? Just for an hour? Just to give this show the ratings? Yes, I’m asking you to do this for selfish reasons. I want to see season 5. And I promise you, if you go back and watch the first three seasons (only 13 episodes each!) you’ll want this to go five seasons.
… I’ll say this: The Wire is one of the few times you’ll watch TV and not feel like the people making TV think you’re a fucking idiot.

All the seasons are selling cheap now. Spend your christmas money to buy them.
You will thank me.

So my brother is out in Cali working at a Gibbon reserve. Well he calls me today to tell me that there is a huge fire and he can't even get back the rescue. Luckly he wasn't there when it happened but he is super worried about the gibbons even surviving. The smoke is so thick.

They closed the road to the rescue so he is stuck in town. I hope he can get out of the area soon. It has been a crazy time out there. First a transformer blew at the rescue and he woke up luckly. Everything keeps going nuts out there. Hopefully he gets out of there.

Now I am just worried that the fire gets into the town.
Here is the place he is working at. If it is still there. http://www.gibboncenter.org/nomascus.htm
